Gage Elementary is a vibrant school community, home to "Gator" students and families from all over the world. As a neighborhood school in northwest Rochester, we love that many of our students can walk to school each day. We are a place where every child is celebrated for their unique talents and where everyone knows they belong.

We are proud to be Rochester's original full-service Community School! This means we are more than just a school—we are a hub for our entire neighborhood. We focus on high-quality learning, strong family engagement, and the social and emotional well-being of every student.
A place for everyone
We are one of the district’s Newcomer program sites, welcoming students who are new to our country. With over 10 languages spoken by our families, Gage is a place where every culture is valued. This rich diversity teaches our students to be curious, kind, and respectful citizens of the world.
